Administrative Measures for the Awards of
China International Industry Fair

Chapter I General Provisions    
• Article 1    
• China International Industry Fair (CIIF) is one of China’s longest-standing national-level industrial exhibitions entitled with the prefix "China". As an integral part of CIIF, the awards evaluation aims to recognize outstanding products and technologies that achieve key breakthroughs in industrial manufacturing, lead industrial development and deliver remarkable benefits. To highlight the theme of CIIF, strengthen its brand influence, further standardize the awards evaluation procedures of the Fair, and draw on the established practices of renowned international exhibitions, these Measures are hereby formulated.
• Article 2    
• The awards evaluation shall adhere to the principles of fairness, impartiality and openness, and follow the selection criteria of high standards, strict requirements, and quality over quantity.

Chapter II Organization Structure and Responsibilities
• Article 3    
• An Awards Selection Leading Group shall be established to review and approve these Measures, oversee and guide the overall evaluation work, select the CIIF Special Award winner, and ratify the results of the CIIF Awards selection.
• Article 4    
• An Awards Department shall be set up to undertake the overall planning, organization, implementation and process advancement of the evaluation work, optimize the functions of the awards information platform, improve the configuration of various evaluation modules, refine detailed implementation rules, and implement incentive policies, publicity and promotion for winning products. The Awards Department will have a Secretariat as its daily operational unit, responsible for the implementation of award selection processes.
• Article 5    
• An Expert Group and a Supervisory Group will be formed. The Expert Group will comprise Fellows from the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, scholars from renowned domestic and international universities and research institutions, technical leaders from leading enterprises, prominent entrepreneurs and well-known media personalities. The Supervisory Group will be responsible for overseeing evaluation sites to ensure the validity of award results and providing recommendations on addressing complaints or objections raised by participating entities or individuals.

Chapter III Award Categories
• Article 6    
• CIIF sets up the China International Industry Fair Awards (abbreviated as "CIIF Awards"), with a maximum of 11 awards in total, including 1 CIIF Special Award and 10 CIIF Awards.
  The CIIF Professional Awards shall be established in light of the actual exhibition situation, with no more than 10 awards for each professional category.
  Based on the overall arrangement of the Fair, the Office of the Organizing Committee of CIIF may propose to confer special honorary awards (or special awards for the host country) for a select few products with particularly significant influence or special significance.

Chapter IV Eligibility for Participation
• Article 7    
• The applicants must be organizations with independent legal qualification; the products must be outstanding technology, products or system solutions with intellectual property rights developed by the applicants themselves or together with others, and have passed the industrialization test or achieved industrialized applications.

Chapter V Appraisal Criteria
• Article 8    
• The CIIF Awards shall be granted to world-class industrial products that represent the cutting-edge global level of integrated industrial and information development, achieve major breakthroughs in technological and model innovation, realize demonstration application or large-scale commercialization, and play a prominent leading and driving role in industrial upgrading and regional economic growth. The specific criteria are as follows:
  1.Contribution to the industry: Deliver critical breakthroughs in core key technologies and high-end product R&D in cutting-edge high-tech industries and advanced equipment manufacturing, leading the development trend of industrial technologies and products at home and abroad;
  2.Technical Level & Innovation: Possess independent intellectual property rights, reach leading domestic and international technical standards, and feature distinctive innovative advantages;
  3.Economic & Social Benefits: Generate remarkable economic benefits or huge potential economic value, deliver outstanding social benefits, and effectively drive coordinated development of related industries.
• Article 9    
• The CIIF Professional Awards shall be granted to emerging industrial products with high specialization, strong innovation capacity and great development potential, which empower the growth of large enterprises and start-up (innovative) enterprises, and support global scientific and technological progress and the development of new industrial civilization. The specific criteria are as follows:
  1.Contribution to the industry: Boast technological innovation or industrial transformation value within their specialized fields, and effectively improve the technical level, supply quality and efficiency of relevant products and services;
  2.Technical Level & Innovation: Own independent intellectual property rights, with strong development potential and market competitiveness in their specialized sectors worldwide;
  3.Economic & Social Benefits: Generate steady economic value or potential economic benefits, and deliver outstanding performance in social development and industrial upgrading.

Chapter VI Appraisal Process
• Article 10    
• All products meeting the participation requirements may be voluntarily registered by eligible applicants. Applicants shall fill in the Awards Application Form on the CIIF Awards Information Platform and submit complete supporting documents as required.
• Article 11    
• The Secretariat of the Awards Department shall conduct formal review of application materials on the official platform to verify the completeness and compliance of submitted documents.
• Article 12    
• The Expert Group shall conduct preliminary review through a combination of online assessment and on-site defense. Eligible shortlisted products shall undergo comprehensive evaluation to finalize the candidate list for the CIIF Awards.
• Article 13    
• The candidate list for the CIIF Special Award and CIIF Awards shall be submitted to the Awards Evaluation Leading Group for review. Upon approval, the final list of award winners shall be filed with the CIIF Organizing Committee for the record.

Chapter VII Safeguard Measures
• Article 14    
• The Organizing Committee will conduct multi-channel publicity and promotion for award-winning products and hold a dedicated award ceremony to recognize the industrial value of winning products and organizations.
• Article 15    
• No fees shall be charged to participating entities throughout the entire process, including application, recommendation, review and commendation.

Chapter VIII Discipline
• Article 16    
• All application materials must be authentic and valid. Fraud and falsification are strictly prohibited. Any false application will result in immediate disqualification for the current session. For awarded products with verified irregularities, their awards shall be revoked, and the involved entities shall be banned from participating in all CIIF Award evaluations for the subsequent five sessions.
• Article 17    
• The CIIF Awards evaluation work is subject to full social supervision. Any disciplinary violations during the evaluation may be reported to the Supervision Panel. Violators shall be penalized in accordance with the severity of circumstances, including criticism, warning and removal from relevant positions. Those suspected of criminal offenses shall be transferred to judicial authorities for legal handling.
• Article 18    
• Review experts with any conflict of interest involving participating products or exhibitors shall take the initiative to apply for recusal to the Supervision Panel. Failure to recuse voluntarily upon verification will result in disqualification from review duties and corresponding accountability.
Chapter IX Supplementary Provisions
• Article 19    
• These Measures shall take effect as of the date of promulgation.
• Article 20    
• These Measures shall be construed by the Award Appraisal Office of CIIF.
